dave weckl high life solo transcription

ok, this is the first part, its about 4 hours of work. PLS comment, discuss, advice, i know there are mistakes - not all ghost notes are in, I only did this by slowing down the song a little bit.

for example there is one quintuplet on the end of 4th bar continuing over the bar line to the 5th bar, and it is on the HH, but i couldnt write it in the program im using (noteflight)

but there is the basic scelet with accents and all the syncopation. i really appreciate all the advice you can give to me, and I hope it helps

I don't have a copy pf the song yet to compare it to the transcription. But the style of notation is very difficult to read. It seems to all be written in one layer. I'm not familiar with the program you are using. Maybe it does not do layers? I know Finale does - so does Musescore if you are looking for a free program. I can see the work you put into transcribing it and can appreciate it. But you really want it to be readable too. Check out other transcription and you'll see what I mean. They will either be one layer - stems all in the same direction or have two layers, Hands on the top layer, feet on the bottom layer. The notes on each layer will equal the time signature - so the rests are not shared between layers.
